approach

As lead designer on the pitch for the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix and moto GP websites, I explored how the energy of race weekend could translate into a cohesive digital experience across web, ticketing and event planning. The concept unified the Formula One and MotoGP sites through a shared navigation system while allowing each event to retain its own visual identity. Personalised dashboards surfaced team and driver stats, news and race updates for returning fans. An interactive course map helped visitors orient themselves before arrival, while real-time ticket availability and an AI ticket assistant simplified the path from browsing to purchase via Ticketmaster.

The pitch was extremely well received by the f1 board, who described it as the strongest visual design solution presented. The concept was praised for translating the event’s bold brand identity into a clear digital system while improving fan discovery, ticketing clarity and overall event navigation.
